I have been an educator for 18 years in Forsyth County Georgia. I have taught in a wide variety of classrooms including numerous student learning styles. Most of my experience has been spent in the k-2 early education grades.

I hold a current Georgia teaching certificate & dual bachelor’s of education degree in Preschool-5th grade and special education Preschool-12th grade as well as a master’s degree in elementary education.
My teaching/tutoring includes skills from several endorsements for Special Education, Reading, and Gifted. I continue learning each year and add credentials and teaching tools with research-based interventions.

Family
My calling was to teach from an early age. However, after having my two sons, I felt a pull towards a different approach to teaching as I saw the need for a different approach to learning. I vowed to keep learning new tools each year and to find new fun ways to teach all kids. Not everyone fits in the box of what is offered in the typical classroom.
My Husband Robert Jr., and children Robert III, & Garrison are my biggest supporters and help me create and practice teaching in fun and unique ways.
Tutoring Features
I hold a current Georgia teaching certificate and am certified in multiple research based interventions across all academic areas.
I offer a multitude of classes including: Study skills, Math, Reading Writing, Phonics, Phonemic Awareness, handwriting, and Test taking strategies.
In tutoring your child will learn and grow at their own unique pace. They will show the most growth with consistent biweekly sessions.
I will gladly attend meetings, or take phone calls & emails from your child's teacher . The best tutors listen to teacher input.
My educational process is based on a game method. I provide multisensory lessons with fun active games and engaging content.
Parent input is valued! The more people working on the same skills the better outcome for your child's success. I love to update parents with skills and gains.
